Legal notice

Last updated: October 4, 2026 · Version 1.0 · Read in Spanish / Dutch

Draft, still to be reviewed by a lawyer. Details marked as to be completed follow once the company is incorporated.

The Spanish version is binding; this translation is for information.

This legal notice (aviso legal) contains the information required by article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI), and the terms of use of the website buenspot.com.

By browsing the site you accept this notice. If you buy a deal, the terms and conditions also apply.

1. Owner of the website

  • Owner: [to be completed]
  • Tax ID (NIF): [to be completed]
  • Registered office: [to be completed]
  • Registration details: [to be completed]
  • Email: the contact form
  • Website: buenspot.com

BuenSpot is the trade name under which [to be completed] provides its services.

2. Purpose of the site

buenspot.com is an online platform for local deals in Spain: restaurants, stays, spa and wellness, and activities. We start in Calpe, Altea and Benidorm.

Businesses (the "partners") publish their deals on the platform. BuenSpot sells the voucher and collects the payment in the name and on behalf of the business. The service itself (the meal, the hotel night, the treatment) is provided by the business, which is responsible for delivering it.

The purchase terms are in the terms and conditions. The terms for businesses are in the partner terms.

3. Terms of use of the site

You may use the site freely to browse deals. To buy you need an account and must be at least 18 years old.

When you use the site you agree to:

  • Use it lawfully, in good faith and in line with this notice.
  • Give true details for your account and keep your password secret.
  • Not try to access areas, accounts or data that are not yours.
  • Not introduce viruses or harmful code, and not deliberately overload the site.
  • Not extract content in bulk or by automated means (scraping) without our written permission.
  • Not post unlawful, offensive or false content, or content that infringes the rights of others, for example in reviews or messages to support.

We may suspend or close access for anyone who breaks these terms. We will explain the reasons, unless the law prevents it.

We may change, extend or discontinue parts of the site for technical, security or business reasons. When a change affects you, we try to tell you in advance.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

The BuenSpot name and logo, the site design, its texts, its code and the selection and arrangement of the content belong to [to be completed] or are used under licence. They are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.

  • Business content. Photos, descriptions and logos of the businesses belong to them. The business guarantees that it holds the rights and grants BuenSpot a licence to show them on the site and in messages about its deals.
  • Sample photos. Some images come from Unsplash and are used under the Unsplash licence. The rights stay with their authors.
  • Reviews. Whoever writes a review keeps their rights and grants BuenSpot a free licence to publish it on the site.

You may only view, print and download content for personal use, for example your vouchers. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate or modify content for other purposes without prior written permission from the rights holder.

If you believe content infringes your rights, let us know as described in section 6.

5. Links to third-party sites

The site may contain links to third-party sites, such as a business's website or Stripe's payment page. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or policies. When you leave buenspot.com, the other site's terms apply.

If we learn that a link leads to unlawful content, we remove it without delay.

Anyone may link to the home page of buenspot.com or to a deal, as long as they do not suggest a relationship with BuenSpot that does not exist and do not use our brand without permission.

6. Liability for content and notices

The information for each deal (description, what is included, conditions, regular price, opening hours, allergens, tourism registration) comes from the business. The business is responsible for it being accurate and lawful. We review deals before publishing them, but we cannot check everything.

As an intermediary service provider, BuenSpot is not liable for content provided by businesses or users, unless we have actual knowledge that it is unlawful and fail to remove it promptly (article 16 LSSI and article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act).

Reporting unlawful content. If you see content on the site that you believe is unlawful, report it through the contact form. Include:

  • Where the content is (the link or the name of the deal or review).
  • Why you believe it is unlawful.
  • Your name and email address, except in cases of child sexual abuse.
  • That you are reporting in good faith and that the information is correct.

We confirm receipt, review the notice diligently and tell you our decision. If we remove or restrict content, we explain the reasons to the person who posted it and how they can object.

Security. To report a vulnerability or a security issue on the site, follow the instructions on the security page.

We do what is reasonable to keep the site running without interruptions or errors, but we cannot guarantee it. We are not liable for damage caused by technical outages, viruses or attacks beyond our control, unless they result from our fault or negligence. Nothing in this notice limits your rights as a consumer.

7. Point of contact for authorities and users

Under articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act, our single point of contact is:

You can write to us in Spanish, English or Dutch. A person will answer you, not only an automated system.

8. Data protection and cookies

We process your personal data in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). You will find all the details in the privacy policy.

For the cookies the site uses, see the cookie policy.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

This notice is governed by Spanish law.

If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence. For anyone not acting as a consumer, the courts of the city where [to be completed] has its registered office have jurisdiction.

This notice is available in Spanish, Dutch and English. The Spanish version is binding. The translations are for information only.
